EPD (Electronic Paper Display) is characterized by high visibility and contrast, a wide viewing angle and low power requirement.
It is a reflective display meaning it has no backlight and therefore uses very little power. It also holds a static image without power. The content on the display can be viewed in full sunlight and at very wide viewing angles.
It is commonly used in mobile devices such as e-readers, digital signage, smartwatches, mobile phones, electronic shelf labels and IoT devices.
